  1. We are all enjoying the peace and tranquility at Hill Farm. The horses are very settled and seem to enjoy the view from their field! Sally and Harry our lurchers love to run around the fields after the rabbits and all the children and young people are making the most of the space.

This week Shetland George has been making progress towards pulling his cart and is enjoying walking down the lane on the long reins. We have had lots of fun problem-solving how to build a go-cart and testing it out down the hill on the lane. Steering, gears and even a seat belt have been added to improve it over the week. We are hoping to add a battery-powered engine next week...

The hay in our big field has been cut, turned and baled in spite of recurrent showers...we found out that it is possible to play giant marbles with round bales!

Our treehouse has now arrived on site but is not yet re-assembled. However it has been a very useful resource for creating different obstacle courses as well as holding up a hammock.
